Referral income, explained without the hype.

If you already know business owners who need a better website, product or digital system, you can introduce them to KORBI and earn an agreed commission when that work becomes a real, paid project. This page explains exactly how that works, and when it does not.

Is this fast money?

No. It is not instant cash. A commission exists only after an introduction is accepted, a project is signed and the client has paid. Each of those steps takes time, and some introductions never reach the end. For people with real business relationships it can become a meaningful side income over months, not days.

  • Introduction accepted
  • Project signed
  • Client pays
  • Commission due

What a referral partner actually does

  • You make active, personal business introductions. You know a company that needs a new website, an online shop, an internal tool or a rebuild, and you know who decides. You connect them with KORBI, explain why you think it fits, and step back while we scope, quote and deliver.
  • This is the referral model behind most serious web design referral programs: the value is trust, not volume. One well-matched introduction is worth more than fifty cold links.
  • Introducing a decision-maker you know
  • Sharing context so the first call is useful
  • Staying available if the client wants a familiar voice
  • Posting links or buying traffic
  • Recruiting other partners
  • Selling, negotiating price or promising delivery on our behalf

Who this suits, and who it does not

  • Accountants, consultants, agencies and freelancers whose clients ask about digital work
  • Founders and operators with a real network in Kosovo, the region, Switzerland or the diaspora
  • People who would recommend us anyway and want that to be recognised fairly
  • You need predictable monthly income
  • You are looking for employment or a fixed role
  • You plan to reach strangers through mass messaging or ads

Realistic timelines

Ranges are typical, not promised. Larger projects usually move slower.

Apply and agree terms

We review your application. If approved, your rate, payout timing and required documents are agreed in writing before any commercial activity.

Introduction and first call

You introduce the business. We confirm whether it is an eligible, new introduction and speak with them.

Scope, quote, decision

The client decides on their own timeline. Many do not proceed, and that is normal.

Signed project, client payments

Projects are often paid in stages. Commission follows what is collected, stage by stage.

Commission paid

There is no universal fixed payout date. It follows the schedule set in your partner agreement.

Commission on collected revenue, not quote value

Your commission is a percentage of eligible revenue that KORBI actually receives from the client you introduced. A quote, a proposal or a signed contract alone does not create a commission. Your rate is assigned in your written agreement.

Purely illustrative example. Not an earnings claim.

EUR 5,000

Referral

10%

EUR 500

Standard rate for a single, accepted introduction.

Growth

15%

EUR 750

For partners with an ongoing record of eligible introductions.

Strategic

up to 20%

at most EUR 1,000

By individual written agreement only. Not automatic.

Actual commission depends on your assigned rate, what the client pays, and any refunds or adjustments. Most partners will not reach every tier.

What changes the number

Only collected revenue counts

Unpaid invoices, discounts and amounts never received are not eligible.

Refunds reverse commission

If KORBI refunds or credits a client, the related commission is reduced or reclaimed as set out in the terms.

Eligibility is confirmed first

Existing clients, duplicate introductions and contacts already in conversation with us are usually not eligible.

Everything is in writing

Rate, payout timing, invoicing and required documents are agreed before you start. Tax obligations on your income remain yours.

What we promise, and what we never will

Before you apply

Do I need sales experience?

No. You need real relationships and good judgement about who genuinely needs digital work. We handle scoping, pricing and delivery.

Can I do this alongside my job or business?

Yes, that is what it is designed for. It is supplementary referral income, not a role with hours or targets. Check your own employment contract and local tax rules.

When exactly do I get paid?

There is no single fixed date for everyone. Payout timing and the documents you need to provide are agreed in writing before approved commercial activity begins.

What if the client pays in instalments?

Commission follows the money actually collected, so it is typically paid in stages too, as described in your agreement.

Do I need a company?

Individuals and companies can apply. You must be legally able to enter an agreement, receive written approval and meet your own local business and tax obligations.
